Official RFL Leagues

As the popularity of the RFL began to grow, many interested owners were being turned away. With the growth of personal computing and the creation of the RFL software, it became possible for the RFL Commissioner to expand and track statistics for multiple leagues (While still maintaining a regular job).

The original Realistic Football League was renamed the RFL Classic League as others were added. The popularity of the RFL continued to grow among local hardcore football enthusiasts.

The leagues listed here are the only officially-recognized RFL Leagues. While other RFL-style leagues exist, only the Official RFL Leagues are recorded for posterity. To be officially-recognized, a league must meet the following criteria;

• Specifically adhere to the original and official RFL rules, with no alterations.
• Statistics and league activity are overseen and compiled by the original Commissioner, or by his designated appointee.
