1996 — The RFL Power League begins operation as the third official RFL league.

1997 — The Anteaters are disbanded and replaced by the Gators. The Bobba Gump Shrimp move from the RFL Major League to replace the Exterminators.

1998 — The Exterminators are re-formed and replace the Bombers. The Wisedogs are disbanded and replaced by the Stingrays.

1999 — The Wango Tangos are disbanded and replaced by the Asskickers. The Bobba Gump Shrimp are promoted to the RFL Classic League and replaced by the Intimidators.
